With 30+ years of business development, digital & traditional marketing, and client management experience, Julie enjoys a global network. As a Mexican citizen, she brings a multi-cultural understanding of the local market to help clients navigate the process of purchasing property in Mexico, and the transition into a new environment.


As the owner and co-founder of a popular Mexican contemporary restaurant in La Zona Romantica established in 2009, Julie has earned the trust of her colleagues, guests and clients alike through her understanding of the needs of each person in a transaction and working towards a common goal.


Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Julie gave up her corporate road warrior status in 2009 to live full-time in Puerto Vallarta and dedicate her efforts to creating a complete dining experience in the Col. Emiliano Zapata. In 2016, she reorganized the mangement structure of the restaurant so she could devote her time and energy to her new venture and The JG Group: Vallarta Real Estate Advisors was born.


As a member of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI), each transaction is handled with efficient attention to detail, transparency, and professionalism. Julie aligned the business with the KW BAHIA, Keller William Realty network in January of 2019. Alex Salgado was born in Mexico City and raised in Chicago Illinois.  Alex started working at the age of 18 in the restaurant business and, within one year, he became the general manager of a leading restaurant chain.
Four years later, he decided that he wanted to go into business for himself and it just happened that he met a  shoe maker that wanted to sell his business and was willing to teach Alex the trade.  Alex assumed the business and five years later, he transformed Al's Shoe Repair into a successful business.
Eventually, Alex sold the show repair business and moved to Puerto Vallarta where he began working in property management.  This allowed him to realize his passion for real estate and architecture.
Alex joins our team with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a warm and friendly approach to people, a desire to help and help others achieve their goals.  When asked about the most important aspect of his career in real estate, Alex will tell you, "It's about the people, developing trust, working ethically, and making sure I help people achieve their goal of home ownership in Puerto Vallarta."

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, John has made his permanent home in Puerto Vallarta and said it was the best decision of his life.  Prior to entering real estate, he had previous careers in sales and marketing as well as procurement for retail and high tech firms in the SF Bay Area.  As a member of AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobilariós), John brings his extensive knowledge from various industries to the team.
